The position is in charge to define, shape, align the product offer (especially digital products and services towards the Digital Car China) for the different vehicle projects and across all Digital Car China business units. S/he evaluates with the 360-degree view (technique, market, operation, on-board, off-board) each product idea/offer and brings it to the decision in the Digital Car China and ensures an overarching product feature experience. For new product ideas this position sets up pre-development projects and finding the right partners. When necessary temporary responsibility of SE Team work, concept evaluation or similar to support end to end responsibility of the feature. Responsibilities: ● Collect, structure, validate product ideas and offers. Align and shape the product portfolio according customer value, business chances, resource effort, technical solution, etc. and ensure product / feature coherence across all Digital Car China business units (includes the competency to demand product roadmaps, setting up feature rollout plan towards the Digital Car and Product Lines. ● Align the product portfolio and prepare all steps to bring this to decision with the competency for prioritization of requirements to the portfolio (together with C5-CP) towards the (local) Business Lines ● Evaluates each product idea/offer with a 360 degree view (technique, customer/Market, business chances, on-board, off-board, plant-integration) which delivers the decision base for Digital Car China. ● Set-up and lead pre-development projects in order to possibly extend the product portfolio with new ideas. ● Lead Concepts and early phase teams for evaluation of new concepts and product ideas. ● Lead temporarily SE-Teams for Components to be developed in China till development is handed over to business lines. ● Initiate potential opportunities for partnership with external companies. If necessary also develop all key contracts. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required: Engineering, Information Technology or similar preferred, Business acceptable.
